Abstract

The aims of this research were to determine the influence of pedagogical competence, career development, and the effect of training on teacher productivity at SMKN 1 Palopo. The population in this study were all employees at SMKN 1 Palopo, The sampling technique was purposive sampling that consisted of 60 teachers. The collection of data used the questionnaire method. The results showed that simultaneously the pedagogical competence, career development and training had a significant effect on teacher productivity with F-value 19.796 > 3.159 with a significance level of 0.000 <0.05. The partially, 1) pedagogical competence had a significant effect on teacher productivity with t-value (6.051) > t-table (1.672), 2) the career development had a significant effect on teacher productivity, obtained t-value (7.425> t-table (1.672), 3) the training had a negative and significant effect on teacher productivity at SMKN 1 Palopo, the calculation was obtained t-value (-2.805) > t-table (1.672), meaning that the resulting regression model was fit and significant, so the regression model was feasible to use. Suggestions in this study, teachers and principals can be selective in participating in more appetitive training.
