Abstract

The cultivation of moral values in children aged 5-6 years is very important because children must always be accustomed to behaving well to their parents and to their own friends. This study aims to determine how the cultivation of akhlakul karimah values in children aged 5-6 years in Patipelong Village, East Tomia District, Wakatobi Regency and to find out what efforts parents make in instilling akhlakul karimah values in children aged 5-6 years in Patipelong Village, East Tomia District, Wakatobi Regency. This research is a type of descriptive qualitative research, with the subject of eight children in instilling moral values in children aged 5-6 years who live in Patipelong Village, East Tomia District, Wakatobi Regency. As well as the object of this research is the child's parents in instilling moral values in children 5-6 years old. The results showed that the cultivation of akhlakul karimah values in children aged 5-6 years in Patipelong Village, East Tomia Subdistrict, Wkatobi Regency based on 7 indicators, namely the cultivation of the attitude of doing good (Al- Ihsan), cultivating the attitude of filial piety, cultivating the attitude of helping (At- Ta'awun), cultivating the attitude of silaturrahim, cultivating the attitude of humility, cultivating the attitude of patience and cultivating the attitude of gentleness using exemplary methods, attention, advice, habituation and stories.
