The Role of Empowering Leadership and Work-life Balance in Increasing Women's Entrepreneurial Motivation and Performance

This research reveals the role of Empowering Leadership and work-life balance in enhancing motivation and performance of female entrepreneurs in the MSME sector in Palopo. Employing a quantitative method, the population includes all MSME employees in the Palopo city. A sample of 250 respondents was selected using purposive sampling. Through the Structural Equation Model (SEM), 230 respondents were considered the minimum number. Data analysis utilized Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM) through Smart PLS 4. Results indicate that Empowering Leadership significantly and positively influences the performance and motivation of female entrepreneurs. Additionally, work-life balance has a significant positive impact on their performance and motivation. These findings emphasize the importance of empowering leadership and work-life balance for the growth of female entrepreneurs in Palopo.
