The Influence of Hard Skills and Soft Skills on Employee Performance at the Sukamaju Sub-District Office, North Luwu Regency

This study aims (1) to determine the effect of hard skills and soft skills on employee performance at the Sukamaju Subdistrict Office, North Luwu Regency. (2) to determine the effect of hard skills on employee performance at the North Luwu Regency Subdistrict Office. (3) to determine the effect of soft skills on pegwai performance at the Sukamaju Subdistrict Office, North Luwu Regency. The results of this study show that (1) hard skills and soft skills together have a significant effect on employee performance at the Sukamaju Subdistrict Office, North Luwu Regency. (2) hard skills have a significant effect on employee performance at the Sukamaju Subdistrict Office, North Luwu Regency. (3) soft skills have a significant effect on employee performance at the Sukamaju Subdistrict Office, North Luwu Regency. The number of samples in this study was 36 people. The types and sources of data used are qualitative and quantitative data types. The data collection used is through observation, interviews and distribution of questionnaires. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression. The results found that simultaneously Hard skills and soft skills have a significant and simultaneous effect on employee performance. Hard skills do not have a significant effect on employee performance at the Sukamaju sub-district office, North Luwu regency, while soft skills have a significant effect on employee performance at the Sukamaju sub-district office, North Luwu regency.
