The Influence Of Labor And Population Growth On Economic Growth In North Luwu Regency

Abstract

This research aims to determine: (1) The influence of labor on economic growth in North Luwu Regency. (2) The influence of population growth on economic growth in North Luwu Regency. (3) The influence of Labor and Population Growth together on Economic Growth in North Luwu Regency. This type of research is quantitative. The data type is secondary data. This research uses time series data issued by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of North Luwu Regency on the basis of 2010 constant prices, data collected for the last 10 years. The results of this research show that: (1) Labor has a positive and significant effect on economic growth in North Luwu Regency. (2) Population growth has a positive and significant effect on economic growth in North Luwu Regency. (3) Labor force and population growth together influence economic growth in North Luwu Regency.
